Welcoming VBRA’s Tom Hudd & Showcasing Our Latest Bespoke Police Vehicle
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Tom Hudd from the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA)to our newly refurbished reception. Duane Malcolm, our Operations Director, had the opportunity to meet Tom for the first time and discuss the exciting benefits of both the NBRA (National Body Repair Association) and VBRA.
During their conversation, Tom highlighted the incredible advantages their organisations offer to businesses like ours. We’re proud to announce that we hold the Elite Truck & Van Structural Standard, a certification that reflects our commitment to excellence in commercial vehicle bodybuilding and repair.
Proudly Collaborating with the VBRA
As one of the few specialist bodybuilders and repairers in the UK that openly collaborates with the VBRA, we understand the importance of maintaining the highest industry standards. The VBRA Commercial Division, part of the NBRA, is the only trade association dedicated solely to commercial vehicle body repair and bodybuilding. Their expertise in legislation, type approval, health & safety and legal guidance makes them a vital resource for the industry.
Additionally, the VBRA has stepped up by introducing a Standard for Accident Repair in the Commercial Vehicle Industry, ensuring consistency, safety and quality. Since its launch, the standard has been well received by Accident Management Companies and repairers, reinforcing its value across the sector.
Showcasing Our Latest Bespoke Police Vehicle
During Tom’s visit, we also had the chance to showcase our latest constabulary bespoke vehicle, built from the chassis up. This fully equipped police horsebox, complete with a full blue light kit, is designed for top-tier functionality and durability. Seeing our craftsmanship firsthand, Tom was able to appreciate the level of expertise and precision that goes into every vehicle we build.
We look forward to welcoming Tom back soon and continuing our collaboration with the VBRA and NBRA to uphold and advance industry standards.
